Instant Opt-out
This type of landing page can be used to replace the generic default page layout and provides the flexibility to design a more customised page.
Here's a example of using a static page redirect after opt-out.
Please note Instant opt-out pages require the recipient to click on a link within an email. They are not compatible with external websites.
Creating Instant Opt-out Pages
- Click on "Forms" in the sidebar then click the "New Form" button in top right.
- Select "Landing Page".
- Choose a layout or start with a blank canvas.
- Click "Start Editing".
The editor will launch and you will then be able to use the drag & drop editor to complete the design of the landing page.
Email Linking
Instant Opt-out Landing Pages are linked through Email Profiles. Within the settings of an Email Profile the landing page can be assigned.
Once assigned, whenever the Email Profile is used to send a Campaign or a Workflow email the page will be used for any clicks on the unsubscribe link.

Common Questions
How do I use the instant opt-out page on an unsubscribe link?
To replace the generic default page that gets displayed when people click on an unsubscribe link, go into Email Profile settings and assign the page within the Opt-out section.
What happens if people opt-out by mistake?
The editor allows you to create links along the lines of 'Made a mistake? *Click here*, to re-subscribe.' - When people click on this link it will revert any changes to their email preferences.
Where do I set the privacy notice?
The related website requires a privacy notice by law so it is advisable to update the scope of that to include any Forms created using this feature and then link to that notice from within the content, where applicable.

Can a confirmation email be sent after opting-out?
It's not necessary to send an email to confirm opt-out as the page displayed to the person clicking the link will communicate that message. However, if you wish to do so then a Workflow can be set to trigger within the settings of Email Profiles.
